Here are a few critical updates for you before we go into the weekend.
Learning model update
We will continue our expanded campus hybrid learning model for all grades E-12 students starting Monday, April 19. We will stay in this learning model unless we communicate otherwise. For families who wish to remain in distance learning, please contact your student’s teacher and let them know about your decision.
Temporary housing resources
Community members in need of temporary housing can go to the Temporary Evacuation Point (TEP) located at the Brooklyn Center Community Center at Centennial Hall, 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430. They are open 24 hours per day. Look for the Red Cross trucks parked in the parking lot. If you need transportation to the TEP, please call (612) 499-4794. No documentation is needed. Please bring all medications and other items you will need overnight. For more information, please call Xiong Thao at 763-286-9715.
Resource Distribution Center
The Resource Distribution Center will be open from 8 a.m. – noon on Saturday, April 17. Community members must be in line by 11 a.m. to be guaranteed entrance. We will be closed on Sunday, April 18.
