Brooklyn Center Community Schools will hold Student Support Days on Thursday, April 15 and Friday, April 16. Students will have the ability to schedule onsite appointments with staff members or connect virtually from home.
“The focus for our children right now cannot be on curriculum and instruction,” said Superintendent Dr. Carly Baker. “We are prioritizing responding to the needs of our community and supporting our young people in whatever way we can.”
For students that would like to schedule an onsite appointment, please connect with your teacher. Transportation will not be available for onsite appointments.
Centaur Plus and Centaur Beginnings childcare will resume hours for the remainder of the week. Some after-school activities will continue. Please check with your coach or activity leader.
Students received three meals during meal distribution today. As such, meal distribution will not take place on Thursday or Friday this week. The community can pick-up meals at Brooklyn Center Elementary from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. or pick-up groceries and other essential items at the Blue Barn.
Community members can continue to come to our Resource Distribution Center at the Blue Barn on the Brooklyn Center Middle and High School campus from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at least through Friday, April 16. More information about hours over the weekend and next week will be shared on Friday.
