Board Highlights - September 13, 2021

Brooklyn Center Community Schools’ School Board met for a regular meeting on Monday, September 13, 2021 at the District Office. Below are the highlights. The board also celebrated long-time school board member Jeff Palm, who resigned due to his move out of the district. Palm was committed to BCCS students and staff during his nearly 10 year tenure and made significant contributions to our community.

  • Approved the first reading of the following board policies: 
    • 808 Face Mask Policy
    • 421 Gifts to Employees and School Board
    • 499 BCCS Pandemic Supplemental Sick Leave
    • 905 Advertising
  • Approved the 2021-2023 Teacher Master Agreement
  • Approved the Teacher Summary of Changes 2021
  • Approved the Quality Compensation MOU 2021-2023
  • Approved the Resolution for the Preliminary Levy Certification
