BCCS celebrates Paraprofessional Recognition Week

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has proclaimed January 23-29 as Paraprofessional Recognition Week in the state. Paraprofessionals provide services in multiple school settings such as supporting classroom teachers with instruction, working with students in small groups or one-on-one, assisting special education students, supervising lunch, recess, and/or study hall, and more. 

Paraprofessionals are essential to the success of Brooklyn Center Community Schools and we are grateful for their dedication each day! Take time to thank a paraprofessional this week.
