Clarification about MEA week schedule

Monday, October 12, 2020 – The district will continue its limited campus hybrid schedule during MEA week, October 12-14. There is no school October 15-16.

While the district is in the limited campus hybrid model, most students participate in off-campus learning. In this model, Wednesdays are support days for students to schedule individual appointments with teachers, ask questions and get caught up on that week’s work. On-campus students learn remotely and staff work remotely so buildings can be thoroughly disinfected on Wednesdays. There is no synchronous learning that takes place on Wednesdays.

This schedule will continue during MEA week. Here is the schedule for the week:

  • Monday, October 12: Regular schedule with synchronous learning
  • Tuesday, October 13: Regular schedule with synchronous learning
  • Wednesday, October 14: Support day. All students and staff members are off-campus. There is no synchronous learning.
  • Thursday, October 15: No school, MEA
  • Friday, October 16: No school, MEA

Meal distribution will not take place on Thursday or Friday this week but extra meals will be sent with students on Wednesday for the long weekend.
