Brooklyn Center Community Schools’ School Board met via Zoom for a regular meeting on Monday, September 14, 2020. These are the highlights.

The board took action on the following items:

  • Approved the name change for Baby Steps to Centaur Beginnings. Click here to learn more.
  • Approved the resolution to designate Superintendent Dr. Carly Baker as the Identified Official with Authority for the MDE External User Access Recertification System for the 2020-2021 school year
  • Approved the preliminary levy certification
  • Approved the parameters resolution GO Capital Facilities Refunding Bonds
  • Approved a resolution for membership in the MN State High School League for 2020-2021
  • Approved the pandemic sick leave
  • Read the second reading of the following revised board policies:
