Vision Clinic Rescheduled: December 7, 8, and 9
Glasses to Classes: VISION CLINIC RESCHEDULED!
The original Glasses to Classes Vision Clinic was scheduled for November 17 and 18 but had to be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.
The new clinic will be held on December 7, 8, and 9, and all BCCS students will be screened during the school day. Those who need glasses will receive glasses for FREE!
Glasses will be shipped to the school approximately 2 weeks later for FREE! There will not be a make-up day so please ensure your children will be at school these days to participate!

Wednesday, December 7 and Thursday, December 8: Brooklyn Center Middle and High School
Thursday, December 8 and Friday, December 9: Brooklyn Center Elementary School
Friday, December 9: The Early College Academy
What is The Optical Academy?
- The Optical Academy is a network of passionate Eye Care Professionals, Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Opticians, and Technicians leading onsite mobile eye care. They are partnering with the Brooklyn Center Health Resource Center to offer a mobile vision clinic for all Brooklyn Center Community Schools students.
- Their Glasses to Glasses Program works within schools to provide vision screenings, eye exams, and eyeglasses to children who fail their vision screening.
- Eyeglasses will be processed and shipped to the school 2-3 weeks after their visit.
- If a child requires further evaluation, their parents/guardians will be notified.
