COVID-19 Protocols to Begin the 2022-2023 School Year

2022-2023 School Year Plans

Please find below the updated COVID-19 protocols we will use to begin the 2022-2023 school year.

  • Learning model

All students will be onsite for in-person instruction five days a week, similar to our pre-COVID schedules. At this time, BC Online will not be an option for students this year. If you are interested in online instruction, please consider our Insight Online school (learn more at https://insightmn.k12.com/).

    Face masks

At this time, face masks are recommended but not required for students, staff, or visitors while on district property. Face masks may be utilized to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 cases in classrooms. This is subject to change based on district case numbers.

    Isolation

When there is a confirmed case of COVID-19, the individual should stay home for the first five days (the first day of symptoms is day zero). The individual can return to school or work on day six through ten if they are able to wear a mask consistently.  If a student or staff member does test positive, we ask that you notify the district health team by filling out the COVID-19 Reporting Form

    Vaccinations

COVID-19 vaccinations are strongly encouraged but not required by the school district. We will continue to host onsite vaccine events for community members.
