Spring conferences to be held virtually

February 18, 2021 – Similar to last fall, Brooklyn Center Community Schools will hold virtual check-ins with parents and caregivers in place of in-person conferences. No daytime or evening conferences will take place in the traditional in-person format, as previously communicated on the 2020-2021 calendar. During check-ins, teachers will review the academic progress of students as families are critical to making the remainder of the school year a positive experience for students. 

Over the next few weeks, teachers will identify their available dates and times for conferences and host appointment-based virtual conferences through Zoom throughout the month of March.  Classroom teachers will contact elementary families to schedule a conference check-in. Homeroom teachers will contact middle and high school families to schedule a conference check-in.

Previous Spring Conference Schedule: 

Tuesday, March 2: evening conferences
Thursday, March 4: evening conferences
Friday, March 5: No School, morning conferences

Monday, March 1 – Friday, March 26: Virtual conference check-ins with teachers and families
Friday, March 5: No School, conference release day for teachers
