Brooklyn Center Leaders of Tomorrow (BCLT)
For students entering grades 9-12 who are eager to be engaged in their school and community
On Wednesdays, the BCLT will participate in the Peer Support Group, a youth-facilitated space for students to connect with their peers on topics including healthy relationships, financial literacy, mental health and more. The program was developed by the Brooklyns Youth Council and the Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth and uses a train-the-trainer model so participants will learn how to facilitate the group to their peers and offer it during the 2019-2020 school year.
On Thursdays, the BCLT will meet for team building, skill building, leadership activities and fun!
Meetings will be held Wednesdays at the BCS south campus and Thursdays at various locations, from 1-4 p.m. from June 19-July 23. Contact Renee Starr at email@example.com or 763-561-2120 x2124 to register.
