Capital Projects Levy Approved By Voters

BCCS is offering FREE shuttles from our school buildings to The Heritage Center polling place on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2024! This opportunity is offered to ensure district residents have transportation to their polling place.

Shuttle Times: A BCCS bus will run every 30 minutes starting at 8:45 a.m. through 7:45 p.m. The shuttle will be closed from 3:00-3:45 p.m. Look for the purple and orange shuttle sign on the sidewalk!

Be a voter!

To vote you must be live within the boundaries of BCCS and be:

  • A U.S. citizen

  • At least 18 years old on Election Day (16 and 17 year-olds can pre-register)

  • A resident of Minnesota for 20 days

  • Not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction

  • Not under a court order that revokes your right to vote

It's quick and easy! To register online you will need:

  • Your Minnesota driver’s license or Minnesota identification card number, or the last four numbers of your Social Security number

  • An email address

  • Be eligible to vote in Minnesota

Note 

  • If you have changed your name or your address, you will need to re-register.

  • In order for their name to appear on the November 5 polling roster, voters must pre-register by Oct. 15, 2024. If a voter does not meet the October 15 registration deadline, they will need to register on Election Day at their polling place.

Early Voting

Early voting is available starting on Friday, September 20 and ending Monday, November 4. 

Early voting can be done by mail via absentee ballot or in person at Brooklyn Center City Hall (6301 Shingle Creek Parkway). 

 

Election Day

You must be 18 years old and a resident of BCCS on Election Day to vote. 

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024.
