This requirement not to discriminate extends to both admission and employment.

Our Grievance Process
BCCS has established a formal grievance process to address allegations of sexual harassment. Key components include:
- Supportive Measures: Individualized services (such as counseling or schedule modifications) are available to both complainants and respondents to ensure equal educational access and safety, regardless of whether a formal complaint is filed.
- Formal Complaints: A written document filed by a victim or signed by the Coordinator initiates a formal investigation.
- Equitable Treatment: The district treats both parties equitably throughout the process, presuming the respondent is not responsible until a final determination is made.
- Impartiality: All Title IX Personnel are trained to serve impartially and without bias.
