Dear BCCS Families,
We are excited to announce a great student leadership opportunity available for students in grades 6-12 at BCCS! We hope that your child will consider applying and making their voice heard. Your child has also received this information – please consider discussing this exciting opportunity with them.
Brooklyn Center Community Schools' Youth Advisory Council is a student leadership opportunity for students grades 6-12 to provide feedback to the student board representatives, district administration, and school board. These meetings allow students to share their opinions about school, district programs, and tell us ways they think we can better serve our students.
All interested students should complete this 5-minute application by the end of the day on Monday, October 21. Principals will review applications and students on the council will hold an interview with you the week of Oct 21 - 25. If selected, you will receive an official notification from your principal by the end of the day Friday, October 25.
