The Brooklyn Center School Board is in search of student board representatives to serve on our school board from November 10, 2025 - May 10, 2027. Any BCS, ECA, or Insight Online student in grades 10, 11, or 12 is eligible to apply! A student representative provides student views and suggestions for the development of educational policies and programs. The primary goal of the student representative is to give input on issues that affect all students and work together with the school board to improve the quality of Brooklyn Center Schools. Here is the application & selection timeline:
- Application must be received by 3pm on Friday, October 24, 2025
- Interviews will be conducted during the week of October 27, 2025
- Candidates will be notified of selection results by Friday, October 31, 2025
- The students selected to serve on the Brooklyn Center School Board will be announced publicly on Monday, November 3, 2025 and sworn in on Monday, November 10, 2025
