Brooklyn Center Community Schools is proud to offer resources as part of its community schools model throughout the summer of 2025. With the support of community partners and programming, we offer a range of services and support to address academic and nonacademic barriers to students’ education, wellness, and success.
HEALTH RESOURCE CENTER (HRC)
Our Health Resource Center, located at Brooklyn Center Middle and High School STEAM, provides free and low-cost medical, dental, vision, and mental health services to youth of Brooklyn Center Schools and community members ages 0-19.
Medical, Dental, Vision and Mental Health Services
The BCCS Health Resource Centers will be open the following days this summer:
- Mondays 1-5 p.m. at Brooklyn Center Elementary with Odam Medical Group
- Thursdays 1-5 p.m. at Brooklyn Center Secondary with Park Nicollet and Portico
Other summer support offerings include:
- Mental Health Providers onsite and virtual support by appointment.
- Children's Dental Services will be offered twice per month.
- Vision referrals will be made as needed.

SUMMER SUPPORT LINE
Students and families can call the Summer Support Line to inquire about resources that may be helpful over the summer! Call us at 763-450-3386 x2125 to connect with a BCCS staff member for support. Voicemail messages will be checked Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. and call backs will be provided.
FAMILY RESOURCE ROOMS
The Family Resource Rooms at Brooklyn Center Elementary, Brooklyn Center Middle and High School and the Early College Academy offer Brooklyn Center students, families and community, access to information and support from various community agencies addressing the basic needs for food, clothing, energy assistance, shelter, healthcare and more. The Resource Rooms also have limited supplies of clothing, personal and household items, and food for immediate student and family access. Here are summer hours and contact information:
