What groups, activities or sports have you been involved in throughout your high school career?

Throughout middle school and high school, I've made the most memories as a dedicated AVID student. As an AVID student, I was able to explore many subjects and activities that are within and outside my interests. Joining this program was the primary motivator for my academics whereas my procrastination was limited.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

My favorite high school memory was participating in a debate team at the AVID Student Leadership conference my junior and senior year as the esteemed, 'Logical Defenders'. Placing 2nd and 3rd were my highlights of the event.

Is there a staff member who has gone beyond for you? If so, who? How have they gone beyond?

Ms. Gautsch has often laid a helping hand and offered student support 24/7. She has gone above and beyond for the wellbeing of her students and drives them into an engaging education system that can easily be a memorable experience. Ms. Gautsch has gone above and beyond for me because even as her former student, I can still go to her for absolutely anything and she'd still find the time to make it work or give the best advice which has led and motivated me to be a successful scholar many times.

As Centaurs, we stand front and center. What do you stand front and center for?

I stand front and center for the transparency BC has with the community, staff, and students. Valuable opinions can inspire valuable minds and ultimately embody a strong community.

What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I plan to pursue my education majoring in accounting at the College of Saint Benedict where I know I'll be successful in the engaging environments that will push my limits to becoming the best student I can be. My dream is to go into corporate law where I know best :)

What advice would you give someone just starting high school?

To the underclassmen, if you're given an opportunity for anything, always consider doing it. Whether that's a class, program, club, or volunteering. It's not just for the pre-college experience for your future plans, but the positive and impactful intentions it can bring to your own image for yourself and others.
