What groups, activities or sports have you been involved in throughout your high school career?

I have been involved in the YLC Internship with the Annex Teen Clinic. I have also been a part of the "Guardians of the Garden" which is the garden internship with Ms. Cotherman.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

One of my favorite memories from high school is when I first met my friend Jewelz. When I first met her she thought that I hated her because I gave her a dirty look even though it was my resting face! When I told her that I wasn't mad at her we laughed about all of it together and we became friends!

Is there a staff member who has gone beyond for you? If so, who? How have they gone beyond?

There are two staff members that I would love to shout out before I get on with things. I would LOVE to shout out Ms. Cotherman & Ms. Kemink for always supporting me during my years in high school. These two have always gone above and beyond for me by checking in with me about grades, mental health, and offering me a lot of support when I need it. Heck, they even helped me out with my prom shopping which I didn't even ask for! Ms. C & Ms. Kemink, if you see this, I wanted to say that I am VERY grateful to have had you as my teachers and that I am happy to be your student!

As Centaurs, we stand front and center. What do you stand front and center for?

As a Centaur I stand front and center for my friends, family, and my cultural heritage. I have stood up and advocated for my friends. I took the time to help out my siblings in school by talking to their teachers to make sure they are doing good in their classes. I have volunteered for events that help me connect to my cultural roots as an Indigenous woman.

What does it mean to you to be a Centaur?

To me being a Centaur means to be a leader for your peers and putting yourself out there even if it's embarrassing! Like how I ran for PROM and had posters up with my face all over the school! This place is VERY supportive!

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan on going to Fond Du Lac Tribal & Community College to pursue an associates of fine arts degree. After I get my two years finished, I plan on transferring to a four year college. I want to become an entrepreneur and create a small business that allows me to show off my visual art skills and share my art to the public.

What advice would you give someone just starting high school?

My advice for anyone who is just starting high school is to enjoy it while it lasts because you only have so much time before you become a senior!
