I want to take a moment to share our immense gratitude to our community for approving this referendum. Thank you for supporting our students. Funding from the levy will go a long way in our work to empower students with relevant skills for the future, support each student’s unique learning journey, and enhance the learning environment into a safer, more connected school community.
I also want to take this opportunity to acknowledge all those who played a part in our informational campaign this year, with a special thank you to the staff and community members who volunteered their personal time with the BCCS Vote Yes Committee. Your work in sharing our story with our community was invaluable and it is a great reminder that we ARE a community which demonstrates passion, pride, and perseverance every day.
We look forward to great things ahead at Brooklyn Center Community Schools!
Sincerely,
Dr. Carly Baker, Superintendent
