Brooklyn Center Community Schools launches a new anonymous reporting system called Say Something. The Say Something Anonymous Reporting System (SS-ARS) is intended to provide a safe and secure space via telephone hotline, mobile app, and website for students and concerned adults to provide information about threats or warning signs of potential violence or self-harm.

Ensuring that all of our students, teachers, and staff feel safe and supported at school is a top priority for Brooklyn Center Community Schools. Keeping our schools safe requires a proactive approach that empowers our entire school community – students, educators, and other caring adults – to take meaningful action to protect our schools.

Students often know firsthand what their peers are going through. We want to teach them how to spot signs of danger and how to get help from a trusted adult. Because so many students connect online, we also want to help them look out for each other on social media, in texts, and in videos.
