Sept. 14-20, 2025 is Community School Coordinators Appreciation Week! Our coordinators are essential to our community schools model and stand front and center to ensure all students have what they need to be successful in school. Each staff member brings their expertise to the district, and together, our coordinators serve the whole child.

Myko Fuller, BCE Coordinator
“I'm Myko Fuller, the Community Schools Site Coordinator at Brooklyn Center Elementary. I'm deeply committed to our students and families, and I truly love the work I do. Every day, I strive to bring meaningful resources, opportunities, and support to the community I serve. Building strong relationships and helping create a school environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued is at the heart of my work. It’s an honor to be part of a team that believes in the potential of every child and family.”
Toni Edwards, BCS Coordinator
Hi BCCS Families! My name is Toni Edwards, and I serve as the Community School Coordinator for Brooklyn Center Secondary School. In this role, I work to connect students, families, staff, and community partners to resources and opportunities that support both academic success and overall well-being. My goal is to help create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every student and family feels supported and engaged. I have been with BCCS for two years and have enjoyed my journey with staff and students. I have been in education for over 20 years and look forward to continuing to work alongside this amazing community.
Yazmin Guzman Gonzalez, ECA Coordinator
Hello BCCS Families! My family and I have been part of the City of Brooklyn Center for over 20 years. This year will be my fourth year as a Community Schools Site Coordinator for the district at Early College Academy!
I am here to support by building and managing partnerships between schools, families, and community organizations. Together, we identify and address student needs by coordinating support services, facilitating family engagement, and collaborating with school leadership to implement a comprehensive community school strategy.
I look forward to contributing and supporting the growth of this community for many years to come!
¡Hola familias de BCCS! Mi familia y yo hemos formado parte de la Ciudad de Brooklyn Center por más de 20 años. ¡Este año será mi cuarto año como Coordinadora del distrito en Early College Academy!
Estoy aquí para apoyar a nuestras familias y estudiantes. Juntos, identificamos y atendemos las necesidades de los estudiantes coordinando servicios de apoyo, facilitando la participación familiar y colaborando con el equipo directivo escolar para implementar una estrategia integral de escuela comunitaria.
