Attendance
Daily attendance is an important part of student success. If your student is ill, review BCCS illness guidelines here. Please notify your school as early as possible if your child will be absent.

Medications & Immunizations
In order to attend school, students must show they are in compliance with Minnesota State Immunization Requirements. A copy of the student's current immunization record must be on file, at school.
School personnel will dispense only medications that have been prescribed by a health care provider. When possible, medication doses should be given at home to avoid interruptions in the school day. Parents/guardians must submit medication forms to the building school nurse. Learn more.

Sports Phsyicals
To participate in Minnesota State High School League athletics, students must have an updated sports physical on file with the school district. Fill out your form today.

Nutrition Services
BCCS is apart of Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program! All students can get one breakfast and one lunch free of charge each day at school. Although no application is required to receive this free meal benefit, filling out the Application for Educational Benefits is still important cause it can provide you with additional benefits.
Visit our Nutrition Services webpage to view lunch menus, ingredients and nutritional information, and complete the Application for Educational Benefits.

Reminders from Technology
- Grades K–2: Students will use iPads that stay at school and are kept in classroom carts.
- Grades 3–8: Students will begin the year using Chromebooks from classroom carts. Middle school students (grades 6–8) may be assigned individual Chromebooks to take home later in the year once they’ve demonstrated readiness and responsibility.
- Grades 9–12: High school students will be assigned a Chromebook at the start of the year, which they are allowed to take home for schoolwork and assignments.
- If your family does not currently have internet access at home, we recommend looking into Xfinity Internet Essentials, which offers affordable plans starting at $15/month.

we are excited for you to return to school!
