The Brooklyn Center Community Schools Board of Education is a group of six elected officials that oversee the general management of the school district and hold the superintendent and other administrators accountable for reaching strategic goals.
School board meetings are open to the public. Students, staff, and community members are encouraged to come to the meetings to observe and influence the key decisions that affect student academic achievement and school district operations.
Meeting agendas are decided in advance of each meeting and summaries are posted online following the meeting.

As of April 10, 2023 all regular school board business meetings will be held in Room 225 at 5910 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430.
