Health Resource Center Community Partners

  • While the Health Resource Center is currently closed, our community partners are able to provide similar services over the phone or video conferencing or in their offices for our community.     Mental Health: BCS and EBE families and students: Please reach out to your school counselor or social worker by contacting 763-200-1201. For ECA families and students, contact Rebecca Anderson Fly @ 763-200-6273. In some cases, these folks can also work with you on school-based therapy referrals, or referrals to off-site organizations.

    Portico Healthnet: Assistance with health insurance assistance is available over the phone. Please contact Portico at 651-489-2273. More information on the emergency special enrollment period is here

    COVID-19 testing: Free COVID-19 testing is available to everyone enrolled in coverage through MNsure, including QHPs. No deductibles or copays apply. People who want to be tested must first call their primary care clinic and be screened over the phone. Testing is typically available only to those who show symptoms that indicate they may have the virus. Uninsured people can get testing at community clinics. The same guidelines apply: they should call the clinic first and be screened over the phone.     Children’s Dental Services: Emergency services are available. If you are in pain or have a dental emergency, please call 612-746-1530 and Children’s Dental Services staff will connect you to the care you need.

    Cornerstone: Stress, healthy emotional expression, anger, relationships, and sexual violence support available through flexible telehealth services for young people ages 13-24. Contact Wilson at wilsony@cornerstonemn.org or call the HRC at 763-450-3385 ext. 5100. Cornerstone services are completely free. Services exclusively related to sexual health do not require parent/guardian consent. 

    Health Mentor: Confidential sexual health, gender identity & sexual orientation, & relationship support for 9-12th graders w/ Hannah ~ phone/virtual. hmikhelson@bccs286.org or text/call 763-221-9384.

    Annex Teen Clinic (sexual health): Hannah, BC Health Mentor from the Annex Teen Clinic/Health Resource Center, is available for virtual and confidential check-ins with high school students. She can help with access to clinical services and barrier methods, education around birth control, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy options, healthy relationships, LGBTQ+ topics, peer/partner pressure and more! Call or text Hannah at 763-221-9384 or email her at hmikhelson@bccs286.org or hannah@annexteenclinic.org.
