Monday, April 11, 2022 marks the one-year anniversary of the police killing of Daunte Wright. The Equity Team will be hosting several throughout the day for staff to come together in community and create a space dialogue, reflection, and connection. 

The Equity Team invites all students, staff, and community members to attend the following city events:

• A celebration dinner and entertainment on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 6-10pm at the Heritage Center (6155 Earle Brown Dr, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430)
• A vigil lighting on Monday, April 11, 2022 from 4-9pm at 63rd/Katherene
