All students in grades 9-12 at Brooklyn Center High School are eligible to participate in the PLTW Biomedical Sciences pathway. Each course in this pathway is taught by a licensed science teacher and includes multiple opportunities for students to engage in hands-on, inquiry-based instruction and meet with professionals currently working in biomedical sciences careers. Students earn three college credits through St. Cloud State University for each of their PLTW Biomedical Science courses by:

• Completing all course requirements
• Achieve a final course grade of 80% or higher
• Complete the End of Course Assessment with a score of 4 or higher
