Full-day Pre-K program

  • 4-year-old Pre-K is held at Earle Brown Elementary STEAM. Classes are Monday-Friday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.

    All children must be 4 years old on or before September 1 to enroll. Our ratios of staff to students is 1:9. Priority registration is given to students who live within the Brooklyn Center Community Schools.

    Students spend time working on Social and Emotional Learning while working on Pre-K skills, including:  

    • Name writing
    • Letter Identification
    • Letter Sounds
    • Picture Naming
    • Rhyming
    • Alliteration
    • Concepts About Print (CAP) skills
    • and so much more!

    Active learning time gives students the opportunity to practice being a good friend and sharing in a safe and teacher guided environment.

    Students participate in the morning meeting, guided reading, small group literacy workshops, lunch, recess, rest time, and active learning every day.
