Stronger Families. Healthier Communities.
Our integrated focus on academics, health, and social services leads to improved student learning,
because we know that learning starts when basic needs are met.
As a Community School District with nearly 100 partnerships with community organizations, we’re able to better serve the whole child — eliminating barriers to learning so that each child can freely pursue their potential.
Through hands-on learning, we weave science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics into student experiences at each grade level, from pre-K through grade 12.
In Brooklyn Center, we want everything we offer to reflect the community we’re a part of. We use inclusive processes — amplifying student, staff and community voices — to shape district decisions, introduce programs, and inform curriculum choices. When we all contribute, we create a loving place where learners can thrive.
We work to equip every student with the knowledge, life skills, and global perspectives to contribute to an ever-changing world.
Brooklyn Center Community Schools’ Community Education Department offers lifelong opportunities for learners of all ages through various programs and activities.
Brooklyn Center Community Schools is committed to equipping each student, staff member and community member with the knowledge to contribute to their lifelong personal wellness by promoting equity, social-emotional development, nutritional education, environmental stewardship, physical activity, and more.
